Both of his internships were those in which the Gonstead method was practiced which led him to utilize the same method in his own practice.
Dr. Miller has studied the Gonstead System extensively, which is widely considered the “gold standard” for chiropractic techniques. The technique has earned distinction primarily because of its record of safety and effectiveness in correcting vertebral displacement (subluxation). With this adjusting method, chiropractors use a visual exam, palpation instruments and x-rays to determine precisely where, what, when and how to adjust to obtain specific and consistent results. The Gonstead System is based on the work of Dr. Clarence S. Gonstead, a world-renowned chiropractor. Dr. Miller has attended many Gonstead Seminars at the Wisconsin facility where Dr. Gonstead taught and revolutionized chiropractic care.
Outside of work, Dr. Miller is a former All-American wrestler, still enjoys wrestling, running and working out at the gym. He also enjoys reading biographies and books on healthcare and war topics. He is involved in the Iowa Chiropractic Society, International Chiropractic Association, Clive Jaycees and is involved in various high school wrestling programs throughout the metro.
